Hi, I’m Gemma.
I am a wife, a mother and the founder of Lemonstem yoga since 2018.
I live in the North West of England with my family and dog.
Lemonstem yoga is a community that I have brought together over the years so that each member can grow through movement, creativity and stillness.
Lemonstem yoga is both an on and offline community.
We have public classes, workshops and retreats. Including online events, online private teaching and our very own Youtube channel which provides the community with free access to yoga classes.
There is something for everyone to enjoy.
I have created accounts over many social platforms where our community can move together and reach out for support and guidance. I would love for you to come join our growing community.
Yoga has helped me personally in many ways through infertility, anxiety and stress. It began to soothe my aching body and quiet the busyness of my life and mind.

Community Yoga – Warrington
Come and join Gemma for a community yoga class in the heart of Woolston. This class is 75minutes long and is held at the local church hall. The Mission Hall, 20 Warren Lane, Woolston. WA1 4ES. Gemma infuses this class with soft vinyasa and relaxing hatha yoga. This class is perfect for beginners to join in too. You will enjoy seasonal scents, cosy lights, inspiring playlists, soothing relaxation and occasionally some home made treats.
Hatha yoga & Stretch – Youtube
During our Hatha yoga and stretch classes the postures are held for longer which will aim to increase flexibility and encourage a feeling of release from worries and stress. This class is a great way to learn the correct alignment of some postures and the basic techniques to still the mind for meditation or relaxation
Gentle Hatha – Youtube
This class is aimed for those who require a much slower class with a more restorative approach to yoga. Today, Hatha is most often used to describe gentle, basic yoga classes with no flow between poses. Expect a slower-paced stretching-focused class with some basic pranayama breathing exercises and perhaps a seated meditation at the end. This class is great for those looking to move their bodies in a more restorative and gentle approach
Vinyasa flow yoga – Youtube
Vinyasa, also called flow because of the smooth way that the poses run together, is one of the most popular contemporary styles of yoga. In this class we focus on sun salutations linking breath to movement and linking postures together
Power yoga and abs – intermediate – Youtube
This class offers a unique workout. Our Power Yoga classes are dynamic, fun and energising with funky music & good vibes. Power yoga is a vigorous fitness-based approach to vinyasa style yoga. Expect lots of dynamic drills and sweat!
Creative flow yoga – Intermediate – Youtube
Creative flow is a class which will inspire & guide students to find a deeper sense of self through the integration of body, breath & mind. This class will encourage students to express through movement and at times within the sequence to self-practice.
This Vinyasa style class is open to the teacher’s personality and expression so expect a wide spectrum of Yoga styles with each class having a very personal aspect.
Students must have some prior practice before attending this class
